The weather is unbelievable and it’s hard to think that on Tuesday kids go back to school & life settles back into a routine. My routine totally changes this year as all 3 of my girls are in high school. That means they are all on the 7:30am ferry and back on the 3:30 which literally gives me 2 extra hours a day (morning & afternoon) to do what I want. Shit like that gets me excited! Two extra hours!!!!  Woo hoo!!!

What’s your routine looking like this September?

As your Healthy Living Cheerleader, it is my job to help you get back into routine so that you can attain your health & fitness goals:) To help you out, I’ve listed some goals you may have and the solutions to those goals. Take a read through!

I want to lose weight:
Best classes for you = Group Personal Training:  One of THE best ways to stay motivated, get in shape & do it all on a budget. Maximum 4 people to a group ensures individual attention for a fraction of the cost of one-on-one personal training. Experience commraderie, motivation & a kick-ass workout all in a large, private studio. Classes available: SHRED – Mondays & Wednesdays from 7:30am – 8:15, WOMEN ON WEIGHTS Mondays & Thursdays 1:30-2:30. These are pre-registered programs.

I love to move my body to music:
Best classes for you = Barre Workout: This super popular fitness class combines ballet inspired moves with pilates, yoga & core conditioning for a wicked workout! Set to music (don’t worry..no choreography!), it targets every single muscle you have, all in 55 mins! Small, targeted movements fatigue the muscle creating more tone & definition. Huge calorie burner as well! Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays from 9-10am. Tuesday evenings 6:15-7:15pm. Drop-ins or 5 & 10 class passes available.

I want to eliminate back pain & strengthen my core
Best classes for you = Pilates Reformer Classes: Using the reformer, cadillac & chair, this workout gives you a varied & well-rounded pilates workout. 3 people max to ensure individual attention. Pilates is fantastic for rehabbing from injuries as well as strengthening your core & back. These fill up quick! There’s only 1 spot available in Thursday’s 11:15 class, and 1 spot available Friday at 11:15.  Pilates Mat Classes This group class focuses on joint mobility, flexibility & improving posture through a series of mat based exercises. Proper form & alignment are taught along with the main principles of the pilates method of exercise. Tuesdays & Fridays 9-10am. Drop-ins or 5 & 10 class passes available.

I need someone to keep me on track with my exercise program: 
Best classes for you = Personal Training:  Work with me one-on-one weekly to ensure consistency with a program personalized to your goals, needs & body. Email me to set this up:)

I have injuries that I need help working with: 
Best classes for you = Personal Training:  With individualized sessions, your injuries are completely taken into account to ensure a safe & effective workout. Either private pilates sessions or strength training or a combo of both will get you back on the track to health without re-injury. Email me to set this up:)

I want to get strong & tone up & lose weight:
Best classes for you = All of the above:) Any of the classes I offer or any personal training will help you attain your goals. The thing is, you have to do it! Remember, that showing up is 80% of the equation. So just show up and I’ll help you with the rest.
